ChemLINE 784 WS

ChemLINE® 784 WS (Wine & Spirits) is a BPA-free, low-VOC protective lining engineered for wine and spirits applications, providing broad chemical resistance, zero hydrocarbon contamination risk, and durable performance with flexible cure and cleaning options.

02Why It Matters

Why ChemLINE 784 WS

ChemLINE 784 WS is a high-functionality, two-component thermoset polymer coating specifically formulated for wine, spirits, and alcohol cargo applications.

Unlike standard coatings that use hydrocarbon-based solvents, ChemLINE 784 WS is formulated with ethanol as the reduction solvent, assuring that no hydrocarbon contamination can occur in alcohol cargoes from the lining.  Leveraging the same technology as ChemLINE 784, the unique polymer crosslinks up to 784 times per molecule when polymerized, resulting in a virtually impermeable, highly chemical-resistant coating that protects cargo purity and asset integrity across demanding alcohol and food-grade applications.

Performance Advantages

  • No hydrocarbon contamination of alcohol cargoes
  • Outstanding chemical resistance to alcohols, acids, caustics, and solvents
  • High heat resistance — dry heat to 400°F (204°C)
  • High abrasion and impact resistance
  • Superior bonding — can be applied to pitted and/or corroded steel
  • Virtually non-permeable — steam cleanable and field repairable
